An exceptional beautiful Saint Anna marble fireplace-surround in the style of Louis XVI with inlays of the best Carrara marble. Finely carved foliate Ivy vines, all common to the period. This elegant fireplace stood from 1881 till 2020 in a Brussels Maison Maitre,( with two other mantels, also now in our collection) The Saint Anna marble is a Belgian marble, the quarry is since many years empty. The Italian Carrara-Statuary is selected as the most white Carara possible, no veins. A perfect match. Large: 63 inch - 160 cm.
