Exceptional cast-iron fireback, picturing 'Adam and Eva' and the appletree. This very old, rare to find, 17th century fireback has it's own natural brown patina,like they say in France: 'Dans son jus'. It has in the middle a kind of misfit that looks like a crack, but it's not, it's an production-process consistency. The left and right part, has to be brought into the wall, so only the depicted part will be visible. Dimensions: 82 cm x 47 cm.
