This beautiful fireplace surround was made in the second half of the 19th century out of Carrara marble. The double moulded shelf has rounded corners. The various ornamentation, decorations in the Grotesque-mode, Griffons, cups and a bouquet of fruits and flowers, all over the front, provides élegance and beauty. This fireplace is in perfect condition, no restorations has been made. This fireplace is a 'surround' so deep sidepanels and the shelf has retours, but can be replaced as an frontversion.
