Description
This large, substantial fireplace made out of Noir de Mazy and Verde Antico marble was made at the end of the 19th century, ca.1875. The photo shows the fireplace in it's original state, taken just before dismantling. Fireplace is complet and in very good condition. The double moulded shelf is resting on a detailed frieze, centered by a panel. Alternating fluted bossed details echoed on the scrolled corbels. The fireplace-opening (foyer) is framed by generous Verde Antico marble. Panelled jambs on sturdy footblocks. Will be delivered with old marble floortiles to make a frontfloor.
