Fireplace, monumental, late 18th century, dramatically sculpted in veined Arabescato marble. The important frieze is slightly more Baroque in character. The large serpentine shelf rest above the undulating frieze, which is centered by a Rococo shell. The beautiful ends are supported by flamboyant panelled jambs, profoundly adorned by sinious foliate carvings. This fireplace is a magnificent Rococo piece, originating from an 18th century 'Hotel de Ville' in Antwerp-Belgium. Will be delivered wit original old marble floortiles to make a frontfloor. Antique Fireplaces First has also decor-terra cotta tiles in stock to finish the foyer (opening), only needed if you go for a real open fire. Worldwide shipping.
